The Importance of School Clothing from the Perspective of Fashion Psychology and Its Impact on Children's Health

Background and Aim: School clothing, as one of the fundamental and highly influential factors in the education and upbringing of children, is so important that it is referred to as clothing for success. This article aims to determine the dimensions and how school clothing physically and psychologically affects learning, academic achievement and personality development from the perspective of fashion psychology and its impact on children's health.
Methods: This research is theoretical, the research method is descriptive-analytical and the data collection tool is library.
Ethical Considerations: Honesty and trustworthiness have been observed in reporting texts, citing sources and avoiding any kind of misrepresentation.
Results: The study of the physical and psychological effects of school dress codes on children's health, education and development as a function of internal states, mental interactions and external circumstances. In general, clothing has a significant impact on students' self-esteem. Those who dress in popular styles are better socially and have better self-esteem than students who dress inappropriately.
Conclusion: Adhering to aesthetic, psychological, safety and health principles, etc., in school dress codes is of great importance as one of the most important requirements of education and training in the form of materials, design, sewing and most importantly, fit, with an impact on safety, health and mental states and mental interactions at a high level of learning, academic achievement and the full development of children's personality, mental and physical talents and abilities, as one of the components of education and training in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
