Background and Aim: Fear of crime and secondary victimization are significant concepts in criminal law and social psychology that have profound impacts on the psychological and social well-being of children. This article aims to explore the connection between fear of crime and the prevention of secondary victimization in children, especially in cases where the child has previously been a victim of crime. Psychological and legal analyses can contribute to a better understanding of these phenomena and enhance preventive measures. Methods: This study is conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach based on library research sources. Ethical Considerations:Ethical aspects of the library research study, including authenticity of the texts, honesty and integrity, have been adhered to. Results:Fear of crime directly and indirectly affects children who have been victims of crime. The fear of further criminal acts can create a sense of insecurity, anxiety and mistrust in children, leading to further psychological and social harm. In this regard, preventing secondary victimization by creating safe environments, providing psychological support and implementing effective legal measures can help reduce these negative effects. Conclusion:Finally, the study shows that a comprehensive approach that simultaneously considers fear of crime and secondary victimization from a health rights perspective can help prevent further victimization and psychological trauma in children. Developing preventive strategies and providing necessary support for affected children is of particular importance and should be considered in countries' criminal and social policies.
