In this research, Iran's environmental laws related to people's health and international law were compared. Methods:In this research, the analytical-descriptive and comparative method is used, and the information is collected using the documentary-library method and the note-taking tool. Ethical Considerations:There is no fake information either raw or processed in the submitted work. Results:In this research, it was found that there is a need to establish appropriate criminal laws to prevent environmental destruction in Iran by following the example of the international legal system and guarantee the implementation of these laws. Conclusion:The use of legal deterrent mechanisms is very necessary to prevent environmental pollution. Among the most important laws that have been established at the international level today to curb industrial pollution are the green tax laws, which need to be accurately implemented by identifying industries that pollute the environment in Iran.
