fa نقش دندان‌پزشکان در حمایت از قربانیان خشونت خانگی: تشخیص و اطلاع‌رسانی The Role of Dentists in Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence: Diagnosis and Communication مقاله پژوهشي Original Article <div style="text-align: justify;">زمینه و هدف: خشونت خانگی یکی از معضلات فراگیر جوامع مختلف است که از دیرباز تاکنون دول سراسر جهان به دنبال ارائه راه‌ حل‌هایی برای پیشگیری و ترمیم آسیب‌های به وجودآمده از این قبیل خشونت‌ها هستند. طی سالیان متمادی و با گسترش روزافزون خشونت خانگی کشورها سعی بر این دارند جهت حمایت از قشر آسیب‌پذیر جامعه که بیشتر زنان و کودکان را دربر می‌گیرد، با همکاری پزشکان و به ویژه دندان‌پزشکان آماری از این افراد و میزان جراحات وارده بر آن‌ها را بررسی نموده و برای جلوگیری از این قبیل خشونت‌ها و حمایت از قربانیان خشونت‌های خانگی چاره‌اندیشی کنند. با پیشرفت روزافزون علم و تکنولوژی دندان‌پزشکان می‌توانند به عنوان مهره‌های اصلی تشخیص خشونت خانگی که اغلب توسط فردی داخل خانه بر علیه فرد دیگر اعمال می‌شود، با معاینات دقیق فک و دندان، سر و گردن، و شکستگی‌های به وجودآمده در استخوان فک و صورت و نیز کبودی‌های اطراف و داخل دهان و از این قبیل معاینات، انجام وظیفه نمایند. مهم‌ترین چالش دندان‌پزشکان نزدیک‌شدن به افراد مشکوک به تجربه خشونت خانگی است که باید با حساسیت و همدلی همراه باشد، چراکه در این موارد احساس امنیت و ایجاد رابطه صادقانه از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. از دیگر چالش‌ها شناسایی کودکان قربانی خشونت خانگی است که در اکثر موارد به این موضوع توجه نشده و به مقامات گزارش نمی‌شود، چراکه در اکثر موارد پزشک معالج به دلیل سن کودک ممکن است علت جراحات ایجادشده را زمین‌خوردن کودک فرض کند. روش: این مقاله به روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی نگاشته شده است. ملاحظات اخلاقی: در تمام مراحل نگارش پژوهش حاضر، ضمن رعایت اصالت متون، صداقت و امانتداری رعایت شده است. یافته‌ها: این بررسی به شناسایی سوءاستفاده در محیط‌های دندان‌پزشکی، منابع قانونی مختلف و سازمان‌های مرتبط با آن و چگونگی تجهیز بهتر دندان‌پزشکان برای مقابله با آن می‌افزاید. همچنین بر نقش حیاتی ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات دندان‌پزشکی در تشخیص نشانه‌های خشونت خانگی، ترویج مداخله و حمایت و کمک به رفاه و ایمنی افراد تحت تأثیر خشونت خانگی تأکید می‌کند. نتیجه‌گیری: دندان‌پزشکان با توجه به دسترسی مستقیم به قربانیان خشونت خانگی، نقش حیاتی در شناسایی و اطلاع‌رسانی این موارد ایفا می‌کنند. توانایی تشخیص آسیب‌های فیزیکی و ارجاع به مراجع ذی‌صلاح می‌تواند به محافظت از حقوق قربانیان و پیشگیری از خشونت‌های بیشتر کمک کند. آموزش و آگاهی‌بخشی به این گروه از حرفه‌ای‌ها، ابزار مؤثری در حمایت از قربانیان و ارتقای حقوق بشر است. </div> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background and Aim: Domestic violence is one of the pervasive problems of different societies and since a long time, countries around the world have been looking for solutions to prevent and repair the damage caused by such violence. For many years and with the increasing spread of domestic violence, countries are trying to support the vulnerable segment of society, which includes mostly women and children, with the cooperation of doctors and especially dentists, to check the statistics of these people and the amount of injuries inflicted on them and to prevent Such violence and support for the victims of domestic violence should be considered. With the ever-increasing progress of science and technology, dentists can be the main pillars of diagnosing domestic violence, which is often used by someone inside the house against another person, with detailed examinations of the jaw and teeth, head and neck and fractures in the jaw and face bone. Also, bruises around and inside the mouth and such examinations should be performed. The most important challenge for dentists is approaching people suspected of experiencing domestic violence, which should be accompanied by sensitivity and empathy, because in these cases, feeling safe and creating an honest relationship is of particular importance. One of the other challenges is identifying children who are victims of domestic violence, which in most cases is not paid attention to and is not reported to the authorities, because in most cases, due to the child's age, the attending physician may assume that the cause of the injuries was caused by the child falling. Methods: This article is written in a descriptive-analytical way. Ethical Considerations: In all stages of writing the present research, while respecting the originality of the texts, honesty and trustworthiness have been observed. Results: This review adds to the identification of abuse in dental settings, various legal sources and organizations related to it and how to better equip dentists to deal with it. It also highlights the vital role of dental service providers in recognizing the signs of domestic violence, promoting intervention and support and emphasizes helping the well-being and safety of people affected by domestic violence. Conclusion: Dentists, due to their direct access to victims of domestic violence, play a crucial role in identifying and reporting such cases. Their ability to recognize physical injuries and refer victims to the appropriate authorities can help protect victims' rights and prevent further violence.
