استفاده می‌کنند، موجب گردیده مباحث علمی و پژوهشی در این خصوص مورد نظر دانشمندان و محققین علوم شناختی قرار گیرد. قبل از انجام پژوهش درباره مسائل قانونی مانند بیمه ماشین‌های هوش مصنوعی، نحوه سازماندهی استفاده از هوش مصنوعی در پزشکی و... می‌بایست به پرسش‌های کلیدی مرتبط با مسئولیت‌پذیری ماشین‌هایی که از هوش مصنوعی در بخش درمان استفاده می‌کنند، پرداخت. به عبارت دیگر باید دقیقاً در بحث قانون و هوش مصنوعی پزشکی مشخص شود که چه کسی و تا کجا، مسئول ماشین‌هایی است که از هوش مصنوعی برای مسائل درمانی استفاده می‌کنند. به منظور رسیدن به چنین هدفی لازم است همه کسانی که با هوش مصنوعی و استفاده از آن سروکار دارند، شناسایی شوند. در این مقاله با بررسی پیشینه نظرات دانشمندان این حوزه مشخص گردید در حوزه پزشکی چالش‌هایی برای آینده استفاده از هوش مصنوعی متصور می‌باشد. شایان ذکر است در این ارتباط به طور خاص در حوزه پزشکی تحقیقات بسیار محدود و انگشت‌شماری انجام پذیرفته، ولی در یک رده بالاتر و با دید جامع‌تر در بحث هوش مصنوعی مقالات متعددی در ارتباط با نگرانی‌های حاصل از پیشرفت غیر منطقی و لجام‌گسیخته
